Visitors & Registration

Thank you for considering St. Cecilia as your home parish. We welcome ALL visitors, whether you are here on vacation, a snowbird, a family member or friend of a parishioner, or a new transplant to the Fort Myers area!

A Note from the Pastor

Along with our staff and the other members of our Faith Community, I would like to welcome you to Saint Cecilia Catholic Community. We are a vibrant, faith-filled Catholic Community that strives to provide a Christ-centered experience of life for all people. Our parish is very much alive, and we invite you to become part of it.

We hope that you will feel at home here at Saint Cecilia, and that together we can grow in our love of God and one another, and be of service to His Church. God Bless! -Fr. Paul

Registration

If you will be coming to our parish regularly, please register your family. By officially signing up, we are better able to serve you (especially in times of Sacraments) as well as connect you with staff and other members of the community. You can register by coming into the parish office during regular office hours. Or you may download the form here and to complete your registration, just return the completed registration form (both sides) to the Parish Office.

We have a most giving faith community. No matter what the needs of our ministries, people, children or the marginalized we serve, the people of St. Cecilia Catholic Community consistently show up and give of themselves.

Ready to Volunteer

Thank you for giving your time! Potential volunteers will need to talk with a staff member and complete the following:

  • A Volunteer Application
  • Code of Conduct
  • Attestation of Moral Character
  • Acknowledgement of Policies and Procedures

As part of the Safe Environment Program, the Diocese of Venice requires that all employees and those volunteers who work with children and/or vulnerable adults be fingerprinted and trained in Safe Environment. For further information, visit the Diocesan website at www.dioceseofvenice.org/safeenvironment

The Newcomer’s Luncheon

We offer a periodic Newcomer’s Luncheon to welcome you in person. If you are unable to attend, and will be mailing in your registration form, please include a recent photo of you and your household. This is only for internal purposes, to help our staff get to know our parishioners.

More about us: Led by Fr. Paul Dechant and Fr. Frank Hanlon, both of the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales, we gather together to grow in faith and friendship through the Eucharist and a variety of spiritual, educational, social, and service events. Our Parish Staff and volunteers work to be good stewards of St. Cecilia’s resources as we serve and lead others to a deeper relationship with Christ and the Catholic Church.
